Issue: Recurring Transactions failing due to SIHUB (RP)
Reason For the Decline.
Due to the recent RBI Regulations and Tokenization that was introduced on October 2022, the BillDesk team have updated their software version from 1.0 to 2.0 due to which the customers are facing issues with merchants like LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Google.
Next course of Action from Karbon Card
We have contacted our bank partner and the Billdesk team to reach out to the various payment gateways and have them upgrade their version to resolve this issue. At this time we have no TAT but we will inform our customers as soon as this issue is resolved.
Alternative
1. Kindly remove the card details from the merchant website and add the card back and do not save the card details which allow the transaction.
2. If you have access to a Mastercard request you to try the transaction we are seeing a good success rate.
Please note that these are a few of the steps we have followed and have been successfully tested with our internal accounts and clients.
